Design overarching themes for the promotional periods Spring, Summer, Autumn to be used across all retail outlets including web store.

Working along the various inhouse departments, wine, beers & spirits, and ecommerce to execute the campaigns for each promotional period including in-store POS advertising

Creating all the digital assets for advertising across all platforms including HTML 5, social media & digital display ads.

Creating all the assets for the website to coincide with the current promotional themes.

Concept and creation of instore displays for 6 of the primary retail stores with a view to roll out across the 34 stores.

Creation of new ezine formats and layouts to improve engagement and drive direct sales to the web store. Execution of 3 ezines a week using Klaviyo combining best practice of live text with image elements to achieve on-brand look and feel.

Creation of video assets for Video On Demand advertising.

Creation of video assets for in-store advertising via digital screens.

Photo editing for advertising and also cataloguing of images.

Design of full store promotion activation including building wrap, window & outside vinyl graphics.

CREATIVE DESIGNER

Brand guardian for General Paints Group house of brands; Colourtrend, Curator, Sustain and all ancillary sub-brands including our retail channel of 7 own branded paint and wallpaper stores.

Concept, creation, and design of all our products from cans, packaging, paint brushes and accessories, tester pots, and all other collateral.

Concept and design of the luxury brand Curator with launch into the US, UK and Irish markets.

Creation and production of all brochures, merchandising, point of sale material, signage, flyers, posters, and advertising across all brands.

Creative direction of photoshoots to create bespoke image content for all our brands.

Reporting to the Heading of Marketing, and working with the Marketing Team in creating innovative merchandising and marketing solutions in order to promote the brand attributes with a view to increasing brand awareness, demand, and desirability of the products.

Working with the Marketing Team in designing and executing exhibition stands for events such as the Ideal Homes Show and House Event, as well as our own private run events such as re-brand launch, brand launches, company milestones, and also branded colour promotional events.

Creating innovative retail solutions for our in-store displays and working with our external supplier to implement and deliver them on-brand and within budget.

Involved in a 9 month company re-brand project of the decorative paint brand from Colortrend to Colourtrend in 2014. Concept and design of all new livery on all products including new can designs, new colour brochures, new POS, new vehicles livery, new in-store displays and signage. Creating and implementing the brand book for the new look and feel.

Responsible for the concept and design of all and any new products launched under the Colourtrend brand including the Prime range, Surface Protect and own branded range of sundries.

Working with our Digital Marketing Executive to create all digital advertising campaigns and social media content and email marketing strategies, including video content and social media reels.

Creating all design collateral and working with our external web supplier to create websites for all our brands.

Copywriting for the brands to ensure on-brand tone of voice and also naming and storytelling for each of the colour names.

Design of all display advertising for all clients for all sections of each paper, including classifieds.

Responsible for trafficking and positioning of all advertising for 8 newspaper titles: Lucan Gazette, Blanch Gazette, Clondalkin Gazette, Dundrum Gazette, Dun Laoghaire Gazette, Swords Gazette and Malahide Gazette.

Design and layout of supplements for the paper, e.g., Education, Wedding or Health supplements.

Responsible for design of all merchandising material for the launch of all 8 titles including posters, flyers, invitations, advertising, POS material etc.

Also worked as Style Editor; research, writing, and editing a section with the titles each week and implementing its layout and design.

Responsible for designing and maintaining the group corporate identity along with the identity of the individual titles.

RETAIL MANAGER / BUYER

Dealing with all the day to day business in the shop, including contacting suppliers, handling incoming deliveries, customer service (exchanges and refunds) and re-stocking.
Organising and rostering 3 full-time and 5 part-time.
Responsible for ordering, trend tracking and buying.

Layout and design of all advertisements and advertisement pages in the monthly and annual publications including, Garda News, Port of Cork Yearbook, Irish Racehorse Trainers Association Yearbook and the AGSI Yearbook.
Preparation of publications to predetermined specifications, checking and providing all necessary files and graphics for printers to enable quality reproduction.
Proof-reading of advertisements and editorial manuscripts.
Dealing with clients in relation to all matters concerning their advertisement.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME...
I am a dog person, I have the pleasure of having a rescue border collie named Timmy. I'm also an avid amateur equestrian and when not walking the dog can be found down the yard with my horse. I compete in various parts of the sport like showjumping and showing and even rode at the RDS Dublin Horse Show a few years ago.
I do love being behind the camera and use this alot in my work too. I also love telling or hearing a good story, something that I think is essential in branding, communication is the key to everything.
